I’m a London-based food journalist, and I write for a number of newspapers, magazines and websites. I have written for – and continue to occasionally write for – The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, The Independent, Time Out, Square Meal, BBC Food website, The Good Food Guide, Lovefood, Ryanair in-flight magazine, Caterer & Hotelkeeper, Vogue, Yahoo UK and Ireland Lifestyle, and others. An ‘untypical' vegetarian, I review restaurants anonymously for Time Out.
I’m currently writing very regularly for Londonist.
http://londonist.com/contributors/sejal-sukhadwala I review new food shops and delis every week, and I write food features several times a month. I also review restaurants anonymously from an entirely vegetarian angle on a weekly basis: this includes not only vegetarian restaurants, but vegetarian tasting menus in high-end restaurants, vegetarian thalis, veggie burgers, veggie dim sum and so on.
I judge for the Quality Food Awards, and the International Chocolate Awards; and am a member of Les Dames D’Escoffier, a networking group of professional women in food and food writing industries.
My areas of interest include: international cuisines, vegetarian food, restaurants, food shops and delis, cookery books, food history, food trends, food events and festivals, and speciality ingredients.
