Andrew Noakes is an award-winning motoring writer with a degree in automotive engineering and more than 20 years experience in automotive journalism. He worked for Fast Car magazine in the 1990s before launching Classics Magazine (now Classics Monthly), which he edited until 2002. Since then he has written or contributed to more than 20 motoring books, and has contributed to numerous magazines and websites as a freelance writer. Since 2006 he has also been a tutor on Coventry University's MA Automotive Journalism course. Former chairman of the Guild of Motoring Writers.
