I studied English at Cambridge, then did a postgraduate course in Journalism at City University, London. I worked for three years as a cub reporter on the Western Morning News in Plymouth, before moving to the Sunday Mirror as a features writer. I later became features editor of WOMAN magazine and then Family Circle. I went freelance a year ago, contributing mainly to the publications above. I have also written a novel, yet to be published.
Specialist areas
I write mainly for the lifestyle/family sections of newspapers and for monthly and weekly women's magazines.
