Lana Willocks is a freelance writer and editor living in Phuket, Thailand. In the decade she has spent covering the Phuket scene she has written on a broad range of topics, from Phuket's wacky nightlife to tropical critters to sex-change surgical wizards. Her work has been published in magazines and newspapers in Thailand, Singapore, Australia and Canada, and she is the author of the book 'Healthy Living in Phuket'. Currently, most of her work is in travel writing and website content development.
Recent achievements include co-authoring the Andaman Coast Focus Footprint Guide and winning the Leap Local Magazine Travel Story Competition, for her Cambodia mis-adventure, 'The Big Mirror'.
