I have a BA Hons Journalism from the University of Central Lancashire (NCTJ-credited), graduating in 2002 and specialising in online journalism, with 13 years' experience as a journalist, sub-editor and web editor for consumer, business, public sector and not-for-profit organisations.
I've been successfully working as a freelance content editor and journalist since July 2012 and have built up a range of clients spanning charities, publishers, corporate websites and PR agencies. I am confident in adapting my writing and editing skills to suit a wide range of audiences and styles, including producing audio content for websites.
As well as my experience writing online editorial, I've written copy for newspapers, helped shape fundraising bids and written submissions and marketing material for a commercial broadcaster. In addition, I've worked in front of the camera and on the radio as a broadcast journalist.
