I'm an experienced writer and editor - specialising in health, wellbeing, relationships, fashion and travel features for both online and print publications. I now regularly contribute to titles including Health & Fitness, allaboutyou.com, MSN and Slimming World.
I also have extensive experience of creating TV and celebrity content for the web. Most recently, I created the Sid Square-Eyes TV blog - TV reviews written under the guise of a world-weary cat - to promote an Orange app. Prior to this, I compiled Orange's daily celebrity gossip and fashion blog for four years and contributed weekly multi-platform celebrity and TV features to the same portal.
I've also created original branded content for a number of long-term online projects - including Schwartz's two-year partnership with MSN, which was short-listed for the best Commercial Partnership at the AOP Awards in 2011.
I began my journalism career as a sub-editor on monthly titles, including Options and Shape. I was Sex & Love editor at icircle.com and deputy channels editor at Orange (with overall editorial responsibility for the Celebrity, TV and Big Brother channels). I oversaw the relaunch of the New Woman website in 2006 - and have worked on many more magazine and website launches, relaunches and rebrands.
I'm a member of the Guild of Health Writers. I was short-listed for the Mind Journalist of the Year Award in 2006.
