I began my professional life as a trainee reporter for the Southend Evening Echo, landing my first national gig on Just 17 three years later. I then moved to TV Quick as deputy editor and was later head-hunted as launch Showbiz editor on Now. I was a commissioning editor at the Mirror, a culture and film writer for the Guardian and the Sydney Herald. I also wrote a weekly film blog about my life in LA for the Guardian and have made short films. I now write for various publications including OK!, Closer, Grazia and Woman's Own, as well as the Guardian. I also work regularly for two PR clients and I have been a guest lecturer in journalism at Winchester University.

Long-established magazine & national newspaper journalist. Relocated to Los Angeles in 2007 and now travel between two countries covering the entertainment and film industry. I specialise in Film, Celebrity, and Entertainment. I was a co-director of a boutique production agency and have an extensive contacts book, a knack for trouble-shooting and strong team management skills. I am a guest lecturer in celebrity journalism at the University of Winchester. Other writing: I have also ghost-written a novel for a US comedian and contributed to The Epica Book (2015). My feature-length script 'Best Woman' was Academy short-listed and I have been a film festival finalist.
