I have been freelancing since 1997, initially combining it with my previous career as a secondary school teacher. I write on a wide variety of topics for national newspapers and magazines, as well as membership publications and professional journals. Clients include the Telegraph, the Guardian, the Independent, TES, Bella, Psychologies, Girlguiding UK, the Townswomen's Guild, British Rowing.
Specialist areas
Education: I previously worked as a teacher and have written about education for the Guardian, TES and many professional publications. Work: I have contributed a large number of careers profiles to the Independent's career planning section and written about vocational education pathways for various publications. Sport and fitness: I am a regular writer for British Rowing publications and have also written about school sports.
