Stuart is an award-winning features writer, travel and food blogger, and professional photographer.
He was named Journalist of the Year at the Holland Press Awards of 2015, 2016 and 2019 plus Travel Writer of the Decade at 2020's re-named Netherlands Press Awards.
In 2017 Stuart was presented with the British Annual Canada Travel Award (BACTA) for Best Online Coverage.
His written work has been published in National Geographic Traveller, Wanderlust, The Independent, The Mail on Sunday, The Guardian, Sydney Morning Herald plus many international magazines and newspapers.
He contributes photographs to Robert Harding Picture Library, Rex Features and Alamy.
Stuart has lived five years in India, four in Germany (he speaks fluent German) and two in Portugal.
He blogs regularly on Go Eat Do, for which he was shortlisted for Travel Blogger of the Year at the UK's Travel Media Awards of 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2019.
He is a member of the National Union of Journalists, British Guild of Travel Writers and British Guild of Beer Writers.
