I am freelancing full-time so if you have any editing or writing work that you feel could interest me, please get in touch. I'm also open to full-time job opportunities in publishing and internal communications.
I'm the former editor of Computeractive and CRN at VNU, with two PPA award nominations to my name. My freelance work includes What Car?, Nobok Sports, Sky and various radio assignments.
Between 2005 and 2008 I was head of internal media at BAA. Fortunately BAA's internal communications is the only part of the company that has not been crucified in the press in recent years - in fact, the staff magazine I relaunched won two 2008 CiB Awards for Excellence. After managing internal comms channels at 'Britain's most hated company', I feel ready for any challenge!
I'm well-versed in employee engagement and all things communications after work at the Home Office and Grant Thornton.
Specialist areas
I'm primarily an editor and writer, online and in print. I'm an all-rounder but my main areas of expertise including technology, aviation, motoring, sport and F1. I'm well-versed in internal communications and have wide experience in digital communications, such as company intranets, blogs and interactive systems. Feel free to contact me.
