I'm a writer, freelance journalist and arts project manager.
I've worked in advertising, publishing, journalism, further education and arts management, full-time, part-time and as the person who's given the wobbly chair and hot desk with twenty dirty cups on it.
My comic series and features have appeared in a range of newspapers and magazines, from Metro and The Times to ES and You Magazine. I've also written series and plays for Radios 4 and 3 including Fear and Loathing in Crouch End, plus two books: I Hate the Office and Forty-fied: How to be a Fortysomething.
I was born in north London, educated at the University of York, have two children and live in Brentwood, Essex, with my partner Heather.
