I am a news, travel, showbiz and features journalist with a long TV and Fleet Street background who has become a ski specialist. I was the FT's ski correspondent for 15 years until 2001. I edited the Ski Club of Great Britain's magazine Ski+board for almost 13 years until January 2014, and authored or co-authored five ski books. In 1994 Lucy Dicker and I became the first people ever to ski every day for a year, acknowledged by the Guinness Book of Records
