Brett is an author and freelance writer who has lived with his partner Paula and young son Hugo in Catalonia, northern Spain for the last 10 years.
He is a regular commentator on family and social and issues in Spain for Australia's ABC Radio. Brett is also a panel member of The English Hour on El Punt Avui TV in Barcelona.
His non-fiction work has appeared in numerous places including in The Guardian online, The Australian Journalism Review, Barcelona Metropolitan, Monocle Guides and Catalonia Today, where he also writes reviews and a monthly opinion column.
