I'm a freelance writer, specialising in food allergy, food intolerance, coeliac disease and other allergies, sensitivities, and gut disorders. In my twenty years as a writer, I've contributed to The Guardian, The Times, The Daily Mail, Reader's Digest, Healthy, Health & Fitness and Optimum Nutrition, among many other titles in the UK, Ireland and abroad. I'm the author of ten books. I also copy edit, tutor journalism, critique, and translate (Italian to English). My specialist areas are food intolerance, food allergy, digestion and digestive disorders, such as inflammatory bowel disease and coeliac disease. As content editor of skincare website Skins Matter I'm interested in problem skin conditions and natural skincare: namely, eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, beauty, grooming and organic cosmetics.
