With 30 internationally published books, five internationally published DVDs and three successful magazine launches under her belt to date, Emily has no shortage of insight into the publishing world. She

With 30 internationally published books, five internationally published DVDs and three successful magazine launches under her belt to date, Emily has no shortage of insight into the publishing world.

She spent over a decade in the marketing industry, helping found the Student Broadcast Network, becoming national marketing manager for the Barfly group, and working with brands including Mars and NatWest.

After being short-listed for the Cosmopolitan Journalism Scholarship, and Company Fiction Writer Award, Emily moved into publishing to become a full time writer and editor and has subsequently worked for titles ranging from The Guardian to The Daily Star, Men's Health to Cosmopolitan. She has been a copy-writer for brands including Philips, Schloer and Trojan; written SMS tips for Channel 4; consulted on TV shows including The Joan Rivers Position and written for websites including MSN Travel and iVillage.co.uk.

Emily has regularly featured on radio stations including LBC, London Live and Kerrang! She runs sustainability website www.groweatgift.com; and arts organisation www.forestofthoughts.co.uk.
