I have been a sports journalist for almost a decade, working as a senior reporter for national daily the Racing Post and contributing to a range of other publications, including The Irish Field, Thoroughbred Owner & Breeder Magazine, Stickybottle.com, Cyclingtips.com.au, and Womenscycling.ie.
As well as that I am an advocate for sports funding for minor sports and grass-roots sports through PledgeSports.org and contribute to that companies blog, running its social media and also delivering press releases about the stories we receive from athletes - including a lot of Paralympians.
In my specialist fields I have extensive experience of reporting from the field, using many medium, including audio and social media. I also have extensive experience of colour and feature-writing and have written many pieces from a human interest angle. You can find a good selection at http://jrlamb.journoportfolio and further, unpublished, work relating to travel, photography and current affairs at http://onestonefox.com.
