I'm an experienced and versatile freelance journalist.
I write mainly about business; from hard news and analysis to consumer features and profiles of business leaders. I've been a journalist for about 13 years.
I’ve written for newspapers including The Guardian, Telegraph, Independent and Financial Times, and have done reporting/producing shifts for Channel 4 News (online) and the BBC. I've written for trade magazines ranging from Accountancy Age and Computer Weekly to Construction News and Retail Week, and have editing experience.
I specialise in reporting on tax and the accountancy profession and technology, but as an experienced writer I can turn my hand to any topic.
I also do copywriting and media training. Clients include Goldman Sachs, HSBC, PwC, Balfour Beatty, Sage, Procter & Gamble, and ACCA.
I’m available for feature commissions, news shifts, editing, corporate writing and media training.
Before going freelance I was a reporter on The Guardian’s City desk. Before that I worked for Thomson Financial, now Thomson Reuters. I began my career in the trade press.
Please get in touch if you would like more details. You can read references for my work on my LinkedIn profile.
