I won the CIPR: Outstanding Business Education Journalism Award 2015 for my articles about Apps for Good, a scheme which helps young people to be creators of technology and not just consumers.
I write regularly for many different educational titles including the Teach Secondary, SecEd, Primary Teacher Update, Special World and Practical Pre-School. I cover stories about disabilities, education technology and social media.
Dyslexia is one of my specialist subjects and I am the author of How To Help your Dyslexic and Dyspraxic Child (Crimson Publishing). It has lots of practical hints and tips and a very positive upbeat approach. Tom Pellereau, former winner of The Apprentice, contributed the Foreword.
My book Brilliant ideas for using ICT in the Inclusive Classroom was published by Routledge in Jan 2015. It is aimed at classroom teachers and will help them use technology to be more creative in the classroom.
