I have authored two books on astronomy. The latest, Where Did Pluto Go? was published in spring 2009 by Reader's Digest of New York. I previously also worked for many years as a senior sub-editor in Fleet Street and still write regular stories and features as a freelance. I am a member of the Association of British Science Writers.
I also produce a wesbite, Skymania.com, which reports on astronomy and space news and gives advice on choosing and using a telescope.

I write about astronomy and space science for the popular media, with a particular skill in presenting science in plain English for the ordinary person. Examples of my work are on my website.
