An entrepreneurial journalist with a passion for publishing and life-changing opportunities, mother to three boys, housewife and an accomplished marathon runner, I lead an energetic and fulfilling lifestyle. Not one to sit around and wait for projects to land in my lap, I seized the chance to bring Darling, a regional women's magazine to Surrey shortly after I relocated to Cobham in 2012. It was apparent that the sassy, sophisticated Surrey woman deserved more than what she was getting - a sleek, easy and informative read of the highest quality; something to enjoy at her leisure at home or at the hair salon, something that she can relate to and something that is local from front to back. Capturing the highlights of regional, prominent events, red carpet soirees and glitzy, charity balls, the magazine follows school's successes and covers topics from seasonal suppers, interiors, health and fitness to beauty and the latest fashion trends. Always interested in inspiring women and women (and men) with real-life stories of overcoming adversity. Never one to turn down the chance to further my career as a fully fledged writer so the door is always open. I am available for any freelance writing assignments as well as part-time in-house ones with national magazines. View my latest work at www.issuu/darlingmagazine/docs/darling-cobham-nov-jan16
