Nick Hughes

I'm an experienced freelance writer, editor and copywriter specialising in food and environmental affairs, retail and marketing. I have written for publications including The Times, The Grocer, Retail Week, Property Week, Food Manufacture, Marketing and The Ecologist and am Associate Editor of Footprint magazine. I have written and edited reports and copy for public and private sector clients including the European Commission, Kraft Foods and Nestlé. I was an advisor to the Elliott Review into the Integrity and Assurance of Food Supply Networks, commissioned by the government following the horsemeat scandal, and currently work for WWF-UK as a food sustainability advisor. I have a MSc in Food Policy with Distinction from City University. I am available for commissions including feature writing, editing, report writing and copywriting.
