Bio

David J Bentley is an air transport researcher, analyst, consultant, writer and media commentator based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, UK and a graduate of Cranfield University’s Department of Air Transport.

David J Bentley is an air transport researcher, analyst, consultant, writer and media commentator based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, UK and a graduate of Cranfield University’s Department of Air Transport.

Since 2000 David Bentley has written 17 management reports on the subject of airport financing. Reports on the subject have been self-published and also published by Euromoney Publications (London UK) and CAPA - Centre for Aviation (Sydney, Australia) and collectively have been purchased in over 100 countries. Other reports include, Airport Security – Paying the Price of Contemporary Terrorism (2003), Financing Emerging Airlines (2004) and Low Cost Airports & Terminals (2007). In September 2013 an independent management report on the UK airport capacity debate (the only independent report) was published, entitled UK Airport Capacity – Unravelling the Conundrum.
