I'm a freelance working mainly (but not exclusively) in sport contributing to When Saturday Comes (WSC.co.uk), regional newspapers, local and national radio (BBC 5 Live, Radio Wales and Three Counties etc.).
I have a book due out in March 2016 through pennilesspress.co.uk based on my original research into three avant-garde poets. Hidden Culture, Forgotten History: A Northern Poetic Underground and its Countercultural Impact has a foreword by poet and broadcaster Ian McMillan and is already garnering very positive reviews in both the academic press and mainstream media.
I specialise in stories often left uncovered by the mainstream press stretching from events affecting football supporters away from the public eye to avant-garde music, literature and film.
