I have 35 years' experience as a writer, journalist and editor, during which time I have accumulated an extensive contacts list and a deep understanding of the sectors already mentioned. I work independently as a freelance, and write for a variety of publications ranging from national papers through to B2B magazines. Topics include all aspects of business management and range across all sectors of industry, from mining to healthcare and higher education to manufacturing and retail.
Before going freelance, I was editor of the UK manufacturing management publication, The Manufacturer, directing the editorial content of the magazine and of the events side of the business, commissioning and writing articles, interviewing key industry figures, writing research papers and news items.
I have in depth knowledge and experience of all aspects of business writing, and specialist knowledge of the manufacturing sector.
I have also branched into band management, and can write about and comment on the music industry.
