I have been a journalist for 11 years, seven of which were spent working as editor on the monthly call centre / customer communications / technology trade title CCF, the weekly social housing publication Housing Today, and the online weekly magazine Call Centre Helper. Since going freelance in 2005, I have also undertaken ad hoc editing work on the supplements of Travel Trade Gazette, Third Sector, and Regeneration & Renewal.
Outside of my editing work, I am an accomplished news and features writer. I have prepared copy for a broad cross-section of newspapers and magazines - ranging from the Guardian to Travel Trade Gazette to Airport World - and currently write three columns in weekly publications.
I am also a professional copywriter whose work extends from the preparation of white papers and ghost-writing of features through to the development of marketing collateral. Current and past clients include Cisco, the Direct Marketing Association, the Professional Planning Forum, and the Call Centre Management Association.
