I began my career in journalism in 1989 and have worked as a reporter, news editor and editor in that time for local, regional and national media and as a freelance photojournalist for the past six years. I

Specialist areas
I'm a freelance photojournalist and writer covering news and features either on commissions or submitting content and images to the national and regional print and online media. I undertake broadcast interviews for radio and podcasts and video interviews for online channels. My work is wide-ranging, from specialist articles on rural issues, property, business, agriculture, general news and features, to people profiles and investigations. I combine my writing journalism with strong, compelling photography and imagery that captures the story visually.
