Sophie is a bilingual freelance writer and translator. Born with restless feet, she enjoys travelling on her own and likes nothing better than hopping off a train in a new city, not knowing what's around the corner. She has travelled to more than 120 countries on six continents.
Sophie has lived in Norway, New Zealand and the USA. She is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and member of Travelers’ Century Club. Her work has appeared in numerous in-flight magazines and various other Scandinavian and English print and online media.
