Emily is gluten-intolerant. Her daughter is eight and is coeliac. Before they were both diagnosed, Emily contributed monthly food and travel features to olive magazine, BBC Good Food, Time Out, the Good Food Guide and Mr & Mrs Smith and ran the digital channel Modern Family Food. She was an ambassador for Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, taught cookery in schools and has appeared on Channel 4 baking with Kirstie Allsopp. Now she is training as a nutritionist and specialises in gluten-free living and family nutrition.
