I am an award-winning writer and journalist, who has produced content for the UK’s biggest media publications.
Currently I am the evening editor at City A.M. London's most-read financial and business newspaper, enjoyed by thousands of workers across the capital each weekday. I'll mainly be focussing on news editing but I will also be able to occasionally contribute to the lifestyle section too, with a focus on health and wellbeing.
The main target audience for City A.M. are those who are interested in business news, market information and analysis of the financial world.
However, we publish lifestyle pieces that cover a vast range of subject matters, including travel, restaurant reviews, food, fashion, technology, books, arts, entertainment, motoring and property.
Alongside the newspaper, there's also The Magazine, a bi-monthly lifestyle magazine for City professionals.
Previously I have been based at the MailOnline, The Mirror, a range of Newsquest titles and Scottish Television (STV) as a digital and print journalist. Among the other publications I have written editorial content for are The Guardian, The Telegraph, OK! Magazine, and more.
During my time at Hurst Media, I sub-edited a high volume of advertising spreads that appeared in national press (including The Times, The Sun and Evening Standard) as well as advertising features for the UK’s most-read and global news sites (such as DailyMail.com, The Sun Online and HuffPost). I also managed a team of writers, commissioned content for our titles, and was the company’s compliance officer.
My expertise also lies in digital storytelling, social media, marketing, advertising and PR – experience gained from freelance roles at a number of high-profile lifestyle brands.
