About The Technologist
The Technologist is the regular technology column published in the RCS Bulletin Magazine.
The Bulletin is the members magazine for the Royal College of Surgeons, reaching a high-value (ABC1) audience of over 27,000 members with its lifestyle and general news content. Articles feature in the bi-monthly print magazine, online and are promoted via the RCS social feeds (41.5K followers on Twitter), and appeal to RCS members as consumers as well as surgeons. Articles have have broader consumer appeal, differentiating the Bulletin from the RCS’ medical journal.
The Technologist is published bi-monthly in the print magazine featuring as a double-page spread before going online. It focuses on the latest innovations in health and consumer tech, covering everything from real-world applications and impact of emerging technologies like AI and AR, to reviews of the latest gadgets and consumer tech releases. Previous articles have covered Amazon Alexa and self-driving cars, as well as Microsoft’s Re-imaging Healthcare event in Helsinki.
