I have been living and working in Spain for the last 17 years, and am currently employed as the Editor of El País English Edition, the English-language version of Spain's biggest-selling daily newspaper.
I have been living and working in Spain for the last 17 years, and am currently employed as the Editor of El País English Edition, the English-language version of Spain's biggest-selling daily newspaper. My responsibilities include coordinating a team of five people, editing, subediting, writing original news stories and features, translations and picture editing.
I am also in charge of the publication's online presence, supervising our website as well as our Twitter and Facebook feeds.
I have freelanced for a range of publications, including easyJet Traveller, Brussels Airlines' bthere, Luxair's Flydoscope, National Geographic Traveller, Time Out, Wizz, Metalworking World, The Independent, Monocle magazine, and CNBC Business.
I am bilingual Spanish/English and am a highly experienced translator, having worked regularly for some of the biggest asset managers in Spain, translating their press coverage.
I also work as a voice-over artist, providing dialogue for anything from school textbooks and in-company presentations, to advertisements.
I also regularly appear on radio shows, such as Talk Radio Europe, where I discuss current affairs in Spain.
