Chris Middleton is one of the UK’s leading business & IT journalists and magazine editors, with a 20-year publishing career. He is founder of Strategist magazine, consulting editor and former editor of Computing, co-founding editor of Child Internet Safety magazine, co-editor of UCInsight.com, a contributing editor to Diginomica, and former editor of both Computer Business Review (CBR) and Professional Outsourcing – a magazine he co-founded and ran for four years. In addition, he has written for The Guardian, The Times, the BBC, Computer Weekly, PC World, i-CIO, Business & Technology, and Publishing News, among others.
Unusually, Chris has also designed and produced a number of successful magazines himself, including the Strategist, Professional Outsourcing, and Child Internet Safety. Chris has a ‘portfolio’ career. He is the author of several books on digital media, and has edited and contributed to at least 50 more. He is an experienced public speaker and conference host, and has trained as a mentor for a youth organisation. In addition, Chris has a separate career as a professional musician, is a published photographer, and is one of the few private individuals in the UK to own a real humanoid robot, which he hires out to schools, colleges, and corporate clients (www.stanleyqubit.com)
