For nearly 20 years, I have worked as a business journalist and over more than a decade I have specialised in all areas of motoring, especially business motoring, such as company cars and vans.
I spent much of this time working on Fleet News, the industry newspaper for company car and van fleet decision-makers, starting as a reporter and working my way up to editor, which gave me a detailed knowledge of every aspect of the world of business motoring.
In addition to Fleet News, I have also worked as editor-in-chief of Fleet Van, editor-in-chief of Fleet News Europe, editor of The Cost, a vehicle running costs magazine, and editor of Fleet Business Europe.
I have also written a number of specialist industry supplements. Subjects covered include contract hire, daily rental, risk management, green fleet management, taxation and European fleet management.
After a specialist role in market insights, covering fleet research for Sewells I joined Glass's as editor before taking the editor's role at Asset Finance International.
Other industry titles I have written for range from Accountancy Age to the Financial Times.
