I'm a freelance property, technology, business, news and lifestyle writer based in Ibiza. In the past I’ve been on the staff of The Sunday Times where I was a business correspondent and at The Scotsman where I was technology editor. I was also the managing director of pioneering online content agency penpusher.com as well as freelancing for numerous outlets.
I wrote daily for The Wall Street Journal’s Tech Europe blog and was also responsible for luxury property House of the Day feature. That ended in April 2013 when I was diagnosed with throat cancer. After extensive surgery, chemo and radiotherapy I am currently clear of the disease and working again.
Currently, I write regularly on luxury property for The Wall Street Journal and on lifestyle and music for the glossy magazine Ibiza Style and the website Essential Ibiza. I also contribute regularly to the BBC Capital website where I focus on technology issues.
I welcome commissions to write about technology, business or Ibiza. (Or if you want to combine all three, even better.)
