In the past I have worked at the Met Office as its editor; as news editor on a weekly graphic arts journal; business editor on a market-leading pharmaceutical journal; for Geographical magazine as online editor; and as a freelancer for the Independent on Sunday, Best women’s weekly, Tonic and The Index, as well as writing about health, fashion, travel, retail and the arts for a variety of consumer publications.
In addition to developing excellent writing and editing skills, I have worked closely with design, production, web and marketing departments in all my previous roles and have a clear understanding of the crucial relationships between them. My patience and meticulous eye for detail are also key strengths, as is my understanding of the importance of brand continuity.
