I’m an experienced journalist with some 20-odd years behind me who has naturally become an expert content strategist and planner. Along the way I’ve been editor of five different lifestyle magazines, a columnist and a freelance writer. I have two books in print and I teach. I’m a fully fledged user of a wide range of social networking platforms and can write content for websites, design sites in Wordpress, and edit using InDesign and InCopy. I’m also great at writing good content and copy on a wide range of all lifestyle and business subjects. Dynamic copy and content are second nature to me.
I am also a part time university lecturer and have written academic courses, at degree level, and for online eLearning and distance courses.
For the past ten years I’ve run my own businesses – with all the business development, HR, admin, budgetry, sales, marketing and PR aspects that go with that, as well as the production of hundreds of international events and the management of a dedicated in-house team.

Content strategist and management, social media management and promotion, content audits and all marketing and branding content supply. Blogging, writing, campaign management and consultancy. Commercial content specialist. Also able to supply contract publishing - creating both websites for clients, as well as print magazines and corporate literature. Travel writing experience including Barcelona, Dubai, The Canaries, Egypt, Malta, Costa del Sol, Barcelona, Milan, Venice, Berlin, Finland, Iceland, Istanbul, Budapest, South of France, many places throughout the UK - and many other destinations, too many to mention here. I cover all lifestyle subjects, mainly concentrating on travel, business and B2B, health & beauty and food & drink. Have filmed for TV show The Restaurant Inspector as a food reviewer with hidden mic and cameras. I am also a part time university lecturer and have written academic courses, at degree level, and for online e Learning and distance courses. I'm a flexible writer with experience of print and online writing - including web content - and I know my way round WordPress pretty well. I've written books, websites, copywriting work, press releases, travel writing, features on just about everything, worked for several publications. I'm freelance and willing to take on just about any writing challenge you've got. Also interviews and features. Have edited three magazines in the past, and I own a media business which also publishes lifestyle magazines for clients and under our own brands. I'm good for subbing, copy editing, proofing etc too. Also take a reasonable photo when required. Have done voice-overs and a little radio work too. Have written two family guide books, on family and lifestyle. I am often abroad and can supply copy for lots of destinations already.
