Roberto began his career as a journalist and then moved into communications and public affairs, working with some of the most dynamic and innovative companies in Italy and overseas. He is a strategy consultant and ghost writer for political and military leaders and various world diplomats.
Italian daily Il Corriere della Sera, one of the most influential Italian newspapers, wrote that Race invented the figure of the external relations director “for hire” .
He is a social innovation expert and has worked for some leading think tanks and foundations in Europe. He is also a Junior Fellow at the Aspen Institute and Secretary General of Competere, a think tank conceived by a mission for developing and implementing practices for sustainable development in Europe. His latest book, “Napoleon the Communicator” has been released in Italian by Egea, the publishing house of Bocconi University in Milan, and is due out in English and French.
